MS Outlook

Since a few weeks ago, my MS Outlook is not showing the "new mail" icon in the systray even when there's new mail. I went to the options and made sure I've checked that option, but the icon still isn't coming up -_-

Went to the net to search for solutions, but apparently the problem's usually the other way around - the icon appears even when there's no new mail. No one seems to have my particular problem.

Am I just being really stupid and have done some settings wrong? O_O I don't even remember changing any of my Outlook settings. -_-"

If you're using Windows XP, it might be related to the taskbar features. Right-click on your taskbar, go to Properties > Taskbar > Adjust. There you can determine which icons show up in the system tray and which are hidden by default.

I accidently switched off my new mail notification that way once ( I use MS Outloook, too ) and could recover it that way.

Hope that helps ^^
