Both sides *usually* end up backing down a bit to talk and stuff, and the last few times when it looked like my journey would get interrupted, things resolved in the end. There's still 2 weeks until the Squeefest, hopefully they'll sort it out before then!!!

I did, for the outwards journey (although I haven't checked all the refund terms yet). Fortunately it leaves about an hour after the train I'd booked onto and I can just walk across from the train station to the coach stop.
