Kabaji's mother is one of Atobe's father's many mistresses. Technically speaking, Kabaji Munehiro and Atobe Keigo are half brothers.
Keigo's father wanted nothing to do with Kabaji's mother when he found out the child was had slight mental disabilities. The mother married a man who loved her and her child, some years later, but when Keigo found out about this, he took Kabaji under his wing anyway.
It may seem that Keigo is taking advantage of Kabaji a lot of the time, but he only does this because he knows Kabaji likes being told what to do.
Besides, he has always wanted a brother to play with and to order around.
