I was going to talk about the FujiZuka fic, but I've spoiled enough already and don't want to do it further. Anyway, 2 chapters later I think I've finally have Tezuka's character pinned. I've changed his background like, 3 times already, luckily it only affects things from the next chapter onwards. XD It feels great to be able to write again, and it's something that doesn't require great deal of planning or hinting in like, 3 chapters prior. Hell, the fic's only gonna be 4 chapters long. *YAY* I gave my muses a premise and they went "WHEE!" and ran around by themselves and out pops a story. (Well, Tez-muse didn't exactly "WHEE", but you know what I mean) And you know what, for some weird reason, having Tez and Fuji-plush with me whilst I wrte actually helps XD

Have successfully burned my first DVD. Mwahahahaha! I shall (force-)feed shiroibara with the Illumi-ness! Speaking of which, I still haven't managed to come up with a premise for the HxH RP yet, mainly because the different groups have such conflicting interest. For example, if the Spiders found Kurapica's LJ, Kurapica will either have to lock his posts the whole time or attempt to mislead his enemies. So on and so forth, for all the characters. This will take a LOT of planning between many players. Whilst planning can be fun, if every step a character makes may affect loads of other people, it becomes painful to play. So, yeah. The obvious solution is make it AU, but not everybody likes that. So, any suggestions welcomed.

No, I don't think it's mentionned anywhere in the manga that she was a psychologist. And all that part where she guilt-tripped Leorio didn't happen, either.

*snerk* I kinda like the anime... have read a bit of the manga but it's really fast-paced O_O

Bad translation. I've been rewatching the Killua vs Illumi hunter exam episode...

What should be "I admit defeat, Illumi." becomes "I admit defeat, brother."

What should be "He's my friend." becomes "He's my best friend."

If they get such obvious things wrong, I wonder about the more complicated stuff...

But you didn't come in from the manga. That makes a difference, especially to someone like me who goes mad about little details. ^^

Maybe because 'brother' does not carry the same weight as 'Illumi'?

But uhm, ok, if you say so. But the more complicated stuff can be checked against the manga, so... Anyway, translations are bad by definition. Yes.

Usually manga is nicer than anime (the only exception I can think of is Shoujo Kakumei Utena XD). But anime has a different sort of entertainment value ^^

I just don't understand why they could type "brother" on the screen when Killua said "Illumi". *sweat*

Now that I've mentioned Utena, I wanna watch it again... but don't have it here :(
