Still no cake, must rectify
Jul. 6th, 2009 09:57 amSpent a while not knowing exactly what I'm writing, but the Athlum bartender came to the rescue and filled the fic with gorgeous sparklyness. I think poor Jager is a bit creeped out, though.
It turns out that in the PC TLR game folder, only the intro, the opening, Gwayn's destruction of Nagapur, and the ending (when Journey's End starts to play) are available as movies. Everything else, even the epic Emma scene and the scenes just before Journey's End, are not .bik files but UE's own undecipherable file format! (Oh, the credits were .bik, but who cares?) I mean, I did realise most of the cutscenes are just ingame-quality scenes and not fully rendered, but I'd have thought I could at least find Emma's fight and the penultimate scenes there. T_T And the sound's all funny because they store the audio somewhere else. Curse you, Unreal.
Still, it does mean better opportunities for screencaps. And yo,
t0k0 and
dualdragonfly, if you guys want them for vidding, let me know. They're 1280x780, I've compressed them as .avi at quite high res but can make them even higher.
I'm wanting to listen to some really dark (and maybe creepy, but not necessarily) music. But I don't have any. :(
btw, is there anyone willing to cast a critical eye over the first chapter of [Side B]? I have a feeling it's not very consistent in style...
