"...rikkai fangirls are this huge terrifying group who go around lynching people in dark alleys."

For the record, [livejournal.com profile] hyouteiexchange has 37 signups, that's more than either round of [livejournal.com profile] rikkai_exchange and likely higher than [livejournal.com profile] switching_it_up.

I'd love a Higa Exchange, but I don't think there will be enough participants.

...............

*raises hand* If I lynch people alone, can I still be a Rikkai fangirl?

Don't get caught and don't let your actions be traced. XDDD

Yeah.

If people want their pairings/schools loved, they should go and drum up the support through events/fanfic/fanart/sharing stuff. To not like a school or even hate a pairing because "it's getting too much love" is really, really lame.

I used to not like stuff that are popular, but that was when I was 12.

That's unaccurate. Sometimes they don't lynch in dark alleys.

Also forgot to say that there are cases of cannibalism, that's why the population is down.

I find Hyotei's fanbase number balanced... for a 200 members team.

Hyoutei fans have quieted down for the last two years. I wonder what happened to them all.

It might be the biggest pairing exchange ever!

I dunno, I tend to find the Hyoutei fangirls to be far more frightening :3

And then there's people like me who *gasp* like multiple teams. And to be quite honest, I like Fudoumine more than Rikkai. There's just no real active fandom for them ;o;

I only lynch people in broad daylight.

Fuck alleys.

I know that this is not the answer you were looking for, but Hyoutei Pride, woo hoo! ;)

Thing is, [livejournal.com profile] switching_it_up is a pairing exchange, which is difficult to compare to a 'school' exchange, unless it's Tezuka/Fuji, the fandom giant. I always thought Rikkai was a more popular school than Hyoutei, though, so I am quite surprised by that. How many signups does [livejournal.com profile] rikkai_exchange usually get?

:D I actually think it's a good thing, so. :P Tired of people saying Rikkai is stealing fans and all that. O_o People love what they want and write what they love, and I can't be made to feel responsible if someone else's favourite school aren't getting enough love or if that school's fans aren't vocal or arranging the exchanges/fests!

Both rounds of Rikkai Exchange got 20-something signups, I think.

Man, do people say that? o_O That's a bit...out there. I agree with you, basically -- people should invest in what they love, not in what they dislike. I actually think a Higa exchange might generate more interest than you think; somebody did a St. Rudolph exchange that worked okay, I think!

Ah, I see. I am surprised -- my flist is very Rikkai-happy, so I guess I've always seen Rikkai as pretty damn popular!

I also agree with what [livejournal.com profile] sharpie said -- plenty of people still like more than one team, which is cool! I'm really fond of Seigaku as well as Hyoutei. ♥
