Jun. 29th, 2008 08:22 amOh, for God's sake. Sure, there might be more to it than what's reported, but how far are people going to protect children's feelings these days? If we tell them they never failed, but only deferred-successed, that everybody are friends with them and they'll be invited to all the parties out there, how are they ever going to handle disappointment when they grow up?
Actually, this is now reminding me of the conversation between
tokyostory and me. *snicker* Clearly there's ground to sue for discrimination... against the kid who isn't friends with literally everyone.
