It's taken me this long to hold a connection for long enough to get to my friendslist... XD
I may have to call it a night tonight, really. Sorry about this. :|
We can talk a bit about stuff by comments if you like, that way even if my net connection gives out I can still pick up the comment when it comes back instead of missing stuff as is happening on messenger right now. *coughs*
I was wondering how a collaboration can be done, and what sort of genre it is.
For the former, I can think of 1)write it together, like an RP or 2)set an alternate universe for both of us to write in. Would have to discuss fic plots to make sure nothing clashes.
For the latter.... I HAVE NO IDEA. Crime (like The City) was immensely fun to write, cyberpunk (like your fic) is uber pwnage but I just don't know how to write it, fantasy is just SO HARD, historical is even harder...
Like I say, actual historical setting = pain, and also too much like work for me. *coughs* So yeah. Crime = fun, I agree. Fantasy... covers a lot of stuff really, I don't think it'd have to be that difficult, but I get the feeling it's not really what either of us are most comfortable with.
Okay...
I quite like the idea of option 2, actually. RP-style stuff kind of... often breaks the flow of ideas, for me at least, so I find it harder to come up with anything decent.
