The weekend was a lot of fun~! Apparently when one is dressed as a pirate, a number of things happen:

1) People honk their car horns at you. (sometimes accompanied with item no.2)
2) People say things like yarrrrr and capt'n at you randomly. (mostly men)
3) People cross the road to avoid you. (one sad soul)
4) People ask you for photos. (mostly tourists)
5) People stop you and tell you how great you look. (mostly women, some with children)
6) People grin at you and stroke their bellies and do weird dances. (one very, very strange man)

The PotC2 film was fine. Could be improved, there were bits that could be edited out and it suffers from the "middle part of a triology syndrome", but other than that I enjoyed it.

We went strawberry-picking~! Made Oishi-faces at fish! Sung the yo-ho! Ate fish (not the ones we made faces at)! Terrorised

World Cup makes me weep. I wonder what happened there.
