pezPirate outfit progress:
Shirt - made, to be "yellowed"
Trousers - made
Boots - ready
Waistcoat - ready
Belts - ready
Sash - ready to be "stained"
Necklaces - get-to
Bracelets - get-to
I only need to get rings. And some strips of black cloth to help tie things together. And somehow make the clothes look old and stained. Sis suggested washing the shirt with something brown/yellow. Seems more logical than soaking it in tea (I will need to wash it before wearing it, and that might wash the tea stains off? Maybe coffee stains would be more persistent...). Researching on the net for better ways right now.
Oh, also need to think about the hair. Was going to use bandana, but the one I was going to use doesn't seem suitable now... hmmm...
[edit] and so my newly-made shirt (old white bed sheets ftw!) is now being soaked in coffee XDDDD
btw, using sandpaper to make leather look old and worn is a very tiring thing =_=
