May. 5th, 2006 10:46 amI don't really talk about these things here, but
irisbleu gave an interesting link (interesting as in it may be of interest, not amusing or anything): Timeline of the Iraq War.
Trying to decide what to do this weekend. I could spend the weekend (or part of it) out, or I could stay home. Going out would be fun but I want to be home... but if I'm going to be home I want to deliver the package, since I promised a friend of Sheep's to help her. From what I know it's worth A LOT of money and I want it out of my hands. Just have to take it to her ex at Knightsbridge. Maybe I should do that, then I can stop worrying about it. I don't like having stuff worth prolly half of my annual salary or more sitting around in my home, especially when it's not mine x_x
I started reading Fairy Cube on the train today (
seraphim_grace told me about it at the last SqueeFest). Having read Angel Sanctuary, which was the most horrible manga I had ever read (so much torture), I wasn't expecting Fairy Cube to be all about happy faeries XD And I was right, there is a lot of murder and other things in this one, too. The story is good so far, but a bit too fast in pace, I think.
Tonight I'm watching the rest of Bleach, up to ep.78, then I'm playing L2. Nobody's been talking about it lately, I wonder if it's been deserted T__T If there's no one on line, I'll sit down and write some fic.
Still mildly affected by hayfever. It can totally go away right around now. :/
[edit] He'll reach NYC soon!

Date: 2006-05-05 10:12 pm (UTC)I've played the Korean beta of Zera for some times, up until I was level 19 and had explored all of the world :D;; It's really a nice game! But much more enjoyable playing with friends and non-stop killing mobs and getting mobbed by the lots of them XD Area effect skills / attacks are so much in that game, making one-on-one fight with just one monster a bit boring after a while XD;; Anyhow, more into offlines and PS2 games for the moment.

Date: 2006-05-06 12:22 am (UTC)you're probably right, sigh. zera sounds pretty fantastic for soloing, from what tongari's mentioned. (bp says she's updating now, and server should be up in a bit? although, ha, trapped at work, so won't be able to play regardless.)
and ooh, which offline/ps2 games? have been poking at civ 4 recently, but oh man, you know your computer's behind the times when a citysim brings it to its knees. *woes*

Date: 2006-05-06 12:33 am (UTC)um, on ps2 games, recently got atelier iris 2, shadow of the colossus, ratchet: deadlocked, dragon quest 8, and suikoden 5. all of which i really indend to play through in the coming weeks XDD;;
i have my eyes on a few pc games, of which neverwinter nights 2 is part of! that game made me drools at after watching gameplay footages of it, it seems to have some of the good stuff of Baldur's Gate 2 i found lacking in nwn, like being able to control all your party members, and an easier access to cast spells :D; the graphics also looks very good.
i'll poke at l2 and see how things go. but i don't know if "our gang" still want to come back to it, and what they want of it now =/

Date: 2006-05-06 12:59 am (UTC)and ooh, love what i've heard about nwn2 so far. the henchmen in nwn were really kind of boring! no fun at all exploring the world with them. ://
(and wah, to keep this from being pure spam in pez' journal -- we should do something fun on the maustrap comm, maybe? remind people how much fun we can have together and all that. *heartsalot*)
