Just before I run off to lecture.

Randomly dragged all the MP3's in my 2001 Cantopop folder into Winamp (yes, all 1177 songs), and listened to "我的" by 彭羚. Ding~ the song's so damn sweet. I think I'm easily moved by these things recently. It's something about her voice as well... it makes me think "Aa, shiawase na..."

Not a fan of Cass Pang, but this is a nice CD. "幽靈" and "暗戀無罪" are both songs that make me shiver. She's got a special quality in her voice. Maybe it does take a married woman to sing "我的" to make the song sound like what it's really meant to be.

Guess that's why I'm listening less and less to cantopop. They give me writing ideas.

Dood, the way she sings it makes it CREEEPY. XD

I used to sing it at the karoke (I can't spell...) And it reminds me of "Blue" (or "blue _something_" ..."blue moon" or "dark blue" or something) by a Korean artist. If I can find out what it was, I'll let you know. You'll probably like that one, too. ^.^

Creepy is good XD Although I do prefer her old songs better than her last few CDs.
