Feb. 17th, 2006 01:17 pmL2: I want to get the divine set just to see how it'd look on my margarine boy ;___; but he's already got the demon set and farming for another set in the same grade seems so pointless when he could be doing other useful things such as
And suddenly I want to tell the world about Fusion!Yamato.
Since his parents' recent split (which he will never forgive his mother for), Yamato's father has moved away and Yamato as well, now renting a room at Kamio's uncle's home. His father has given him some money but he tries to use as little of it as possible by getting a part-time job at the convenience store Lawson's. For the same reason, his entry to Seigaku University's medical course has been deferred for a year. His plan is to get a full-time job for one year when high school ends. This may change once his father files for a formal divorce base on the grounds of adultery and forces the mother (and her boyfriend) to leave the family home.
During a quiet shift at Lawson's, you can find Yamato studying behind the till. Because the store is close to Seigaku, he often gets visited by school friends. In fact, sometimes they visit him to get some help with school work, or to discuss school events; Yamato is not particularly bright but he works very hard and generally has good relationship with his classmates. He also has a close circle who knows him well enough to not even lift an eyebrow when Yamato tells them he's interested in the boy tennis captain from Rikkai. Even though he has always gone out with girls, the "try everything once" principle means he will not deny the attraction. He will put his feelings on the line and try to go out with Yukimura. It may or may not work, but whatever the outcome he will be the wiser for it.
Yamato does not make a good boyfriend, or so he often claims himself. He is aware of his many shortcomings, for example his set view on a man's role in life - that a man must not lift his fists against anyone unless to protect someone/something, a man leads in a relationship, he must provide for the woman and the woman in return must do as he says (Yamato makes his demands as reasonable as possible)... in a sense, some of his values are rather traditionally Japanese. But he makes demands of himself too, that he would stick with what he has chosen until the end (hence always being the dumped, not the dumper), that he would always be a giver, that he would try his damn hardest in everything. He is the sort of man that would make a woman feel safe and secure, despite that nonchalent look he often has on his face.
How things will or will not work between him and Yukimura, Yamato has no idea. He no longer knows what "role" he plays because Yukimura is not a woman. Although usually confident, he takes one cautious step after another into this water and tries to create as little splash as possible. Every now and then he stops and thinks he should probably seek advice from Tezuka-kun. (XD;)
One last point: Yamato is one damn fine kisser.
[edit] Forgot to mention, I tried C4 on L2 yesterday and whooaa~~ SORRELL BLINKS! And it was so fascinating watching Arisilide blink *___* He also stands differently in C4, oh my pretty margarine! Took some caps to post to the comm later. Switched back to C3 for now though, C4's too buggy to play. Will sit and wait for fixes...

Date: 2006-02-17 04:38 pm (UTC)Erm, no, not necessarily. It just means he likes boys
and doesn't like you.[strikeout deleted, in case a certain T-kun goes after his neck!]

Date: 2006-02-17 04:59 pm (UTC)But. . .you said tennis makes everyone gay. Then how can I like Ryoma-kun if he's a boy? I'm so confused, senpai. T_T

Date: 2006-02-17 05:05 pm (UTC)You can't. It's a criminal offense. They take you to jail for that.
Not this one, either ^_~

Momochan-senpai, who is one of my favorites, isn't good enough to be gay! *sob*

Date: 2006-02-17 05:30 pm (UTC)The whole ranking match thing is just a smoke screen. So, what do you want more? Do you want to like Echizen-kun or do you want to become good at tennis, since he only likes those who are good at tennis? But don't forget that being good at tennis means you'll be gay. Choose carefully.

A-anou. . .I think I would rather like Ryoma-kun than be good at tennis. #^^# I don't think I'll ever be that good at it, anyways.

Date: 2006-02-17 05:07 pm (UTC)Mizuki-san is not an ideal proportionate representation of the gay-to-tennis ratio. He certainly /presents/ his tennis as being of a level to match his gay, but, sadly, I admit I find him lacking.

Date: 2006-02-17 05:13 pm (UTC)Well, I'd be worried if you find every gay tennis boy out there interests you. ;)
Poor Mizuki-kun.

Date: 2006-02-17 05:27 pm (UTC)The gay ones I am more often interested in for their tennis and not so much for their gay. I am, after all, a buchou with an eye for courting talent.
Indeed. Yuki thinks he's a poser, one endowed with natural rather than tennis-induced gay.

Date: 2006-02-17 05:35 pm (UTC)Of course. I take it that you like boys who are good at their ball games.
We may all just bit envious of his natural gay-ness?

Date: 2006-02-17 08:07 pm (UTC)You would be correct. Speaking of which, I haven't seen your ball games in two years.
Perhaps a little. XD
