I'm an idiot, so help me if you can

1. How can I get my Winamp to display Japanese characters? Right now it can only display some of it. I remember doing something so that it would display Chinese, but I can't remember how it was done...

2. Trying to do screencaps using VirtualDub. But I can't open the .avi file, it says "VideoSourceAVI error: The source image format is not acceptable. (error code -2)". What should I do?

Can't help on the Winamp since I checked their site and could not find a Japanese (or Chinese even) plug-in so... no clue.

As for screencaps... why using Virtual Dub?

In WMP 9.0... you only need to do CTRL + I and you'll be able to save the image ^_~

Coz I wanted to catch that specific scene that flashes across the screen XD It's only like half a second and VD lets me do frame-by-frame search, that's all ^^

Ah... good reason.

Personally I can't use VirtualDub as I seem to miss some codecs it needs to run and don't intend to fuck up my system just so I can use VD (since I don't really need it anyway ^_~).
