I was laughing my head off. The only way they could have been more blatant about it would be if they had had them kiss at the end of the episode. Too. Funny. XD
That's the annoying bit! His eyes are shown in the manga during that match, but you don't see them in the anime... so you never get to find out what colour they really are!!!!!! >_
Actually, you know the little chibi image at the end of the episode? Where Inui is a rampaging robot machine thingie? In the second part of it (when they're all in the pink flowers), the Inui-robot is removing his glasses, and lo and behold, there is a pair of eyes! The chibi Renji also opens his eyes.^^ I know eyes on a robo-Inui is not the same as eyes on the real Inui, but it's something.^^
