Doesn't it look just like the one 2 weeks ago... 3 stations and a bus... but this time it's as if they made the bombs wrong so they didn't go off properly.
Exactly, and that's what scares me the most - people say lightening won't strike at the same place again, but this is almost identical, with the exception that it was unsuccessful. At least we can assume that it's a copy cat groups' doing, and that they're far less organised and able than the original ones. Still, it exposes just how vulnerable our system is to such attacks, even if we have already experienced one almost identical only 2 weeks or so before. *shivers and worries*
That's the thing - people have been very careful with what they say, but the bottom line is, there is no way to prevent such attacks completely. If someone is intent on murder, like we say in CHinese, they're in the shadows and us in the light, it's impossible for us to find all of them whilst we're all easy targets.
And it sounds strange to say it, but for something that happened like 9/11, because it's such a huge scale, it's actually much easier to prevent from happening again, in a way, than these bombings, which are much smaller, but much harder to detect and stop, particularly in London. I dread to think what the situation will be like in the future - I don't want to be afraid every time I go on the tube from now on, but it's the only way for me to travel into and out of London.
