I watched 30 episodes of PoT today. (oh my eyes! it burns! it burnses us!)

And Tezuka still hasn't properly smiled once. Will he ever?!?!!? *cries*

30? Woah o_o *hands you bottle of eye drops* Hm...you should've seen him smile already. To Oishi in ep25-26. Other than that, he has little smiles from time to time, like when the team is doing good...you've probably seen one or two of those. Nothing much more than that. Maybe Fuji should try to tickle him.

Speaking of which... *nudges* Have any favorite pairings yet? ^^

Well that one... a smile of relief, ne? ^^ I wanna see one of those really happy smiles~ but guess I won't ever see one. He always looks so intense... like he's constipated or something XD

*runs away from Tezuka fans* STAMPEDE!!!

Fave pairings would be... hmmm... Momo/Kaidou? *BOL* Actually, maybe Tezuka/Fuji, or maybe Fuji has unrequitted love for Tezuka or something. *grins*

I'm sure we'll all see him smile happily if Seigaku wins the Nationals. ^^ Heh, one of my other friends said the same thing. He looks all serious so no one questions his seme-ness *nods* and yet at least half of the Tezuka and Fuji doujinshi out there is FujixTezuka ^^;

Momo/Kaidou is cool ^^ Their rivalry makes me laugh sometimes. There's lots of hints for that pairing in recent episodes. Yet after 100-something episodes, my obsession with Tezuka/Fuji and Fuji/Tezuka still remains. Okay, I admit that I dabble in Yamato/Tezuka a bit, but that's cause...well, you'll find out when Yamato is introduced. ^_^

Fuji/Tezuka? *L* Maybe the fans think Tezuka needs to give up control a bit, relax and be taken care of? *awwww*

Fuji: *giving head massage* How does this feel, Mitsu?
Tezuka: *melts* Hmmmm....
Fuji: *his hands slide down further, and further*
Tezuka: Hmmmm....
(the rest has been censored)

[note: Tezuka's given name "Kunimitsu" is a really uncool one, and calling him "Kuni" (country) is even worse, so "Mitsu" it'll be, at least for me.... anyway, "Mitsu" can also be translated to "honey"!]

Yamato? *looks forward to Fuji's new love rival XD*

Yeah, just as long as Tezuka doesn't act all weepy/submissive and Fuji doesn't act all evil/heartless, then I like Fuji/Tezuka. Same goes for when that's reversed. They make a very interesting pairing...

Evil censoring! *imagines the rest* >:D~~~

Yeah, but it's not written as mitsu/honey which confuses me to no end. >_< I'll never learn Japanese if the kanji, hiragana, and the way it's said refuse to make sense! Awhile ago, I looked up the kanji, and posted about it here. I think Kunimitsu is very fitting for him. And 'kuni' seems to run in the family ^^; His grandfather's name is Kunikazu and his father is Kuniharu.

Kunimitsu means Pride of the Nation or something like that, I think? It's a very traditional, typical name... but somewhat uncool and old-fashioned. It's like being called Mary - there's nothing wrong with the name, but it just makes people think of the old times, and the characters in children's books ^^"

Japanese is like that X_x" a kanji can have several different pronounciation, and some pronounciation can be written as several different kanjis. ^^" I just think it's cute to call him "Mitsu" coz of its other meaning XD~~~

The stereotypical seme/uke urks me as well O_o It's like reading about a crying, whiney Schu... *shivers*

*snickers* I never knew that... Maybe the manga-ka was being uncreative at the moment, or maybe it was to represent that his family is traditional or something.

@_@ That's too much for my little brain to comprehend. I think Mitsu is a cute nickname. Bet only Fuji's allowed to call him that and get away with it. To the rest: "100 laps!" XD

Hey, btw, you mentioned his family... where do you find out about that? Can you tell me a bit more about his background? ^^

It's in the 10.5 fanbook. I don't know where to find it though, or I'd probably have a copy of my own. Beware...once you start buying Tenipuri stuff, you might not be able to stop. >_> Every single little piece of merchandise that you can possibly imagine there to be has probably been made for the Tenipuri fandom. @_@ Anyway, I found translations of Tezuka's info page, and I don't remember the link, but I did save the information, so I'll c/p it here:

Age : 14
Year in Seishun Gakuen Jr. High : 3rd Year(Class 1)
Birthday : 7th October
Height : 179 cm
Blood Type : O
Dominant hand: Left
Shoes : MIZUNO(WAVE DUAL LIGHT<6K93009>)
Racket : MIZUNO(PRO LIGHT S90)
Skills : Drop Shot, Tezuka Zone

Tezuka:
- has a grandfather and parents. The grandfather, Kunikazu, is a whacked-out darling who teaches judo to the local police; the father, Kuniharu, is not. The mother, Ayana, is scarily like Fuji ("Nee, Kunimitsu? You look like you're having fun these days...you keep *smiling*. *nikoniko* "...Sou?") (Well, you know how they say boys always marry someone like their mother.... XD XD XD )
- his father is an employee of a trading company
- likes world history
- has fishing, camping and mountain climbing as hobbies
- favourite food is unacha (soup stock poured over unagi dipped and broiled in soy sauce)
- favourite colours are dark green and blue

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT TEZUKA'S ROOM:
- it's painfully neat
- there's a collection of fishing lures neatly arranged on a board on the fall beside his bed, and a glass cupboard for his fishing rods. Plus a huge colour print of a mountain he climbed over his bureau. The boy, he takes his hobbies seriously.
- The most sophisticated piece of technology in his room is a radio cassette player. (what a dork ^^; )
- his house is washitsu-style, complete with koi pond and the bamboo-water refiller thing that goes clunk when it's full.

TEZUKA'S BAG HAS:
- a specs case and soft cloth
- a dark-coloured spiral-bound B3-ish notebook and a cap-ballpoint
- an o-mamori (amulet/charm from a shrine) in this flowery pouch
- GATSBY deodorant spray
- a wristband
- an Ed McBain novel (The Big Bad City >_>)
- a reference book of Most Advanced Math Questions
- an English-Japanese dictionary
