Ladies and Gentlemen, I have an announcement to make.

Well, it was like, I have a list of job descriptions and key accountabilities (everything from client handling to office communications to project design to finance) and there are ticky boxes next to each one, which more or less summarises to "Bad", "Satisfactory", "Very Good" and "Not Applicable". And for most of my stuff, they ticked me for "very good". The remaining one or two are "satisfactory".

And then once we've gone through what I've been doing and my performance, they're really surprised that I've gone this far in 8 months... we've identified my objectives for next year, what kind of training courses they want to put me up for, and then we just sat there and chat for like 45 min XD

What's going to happen next, I'm not sure. They'll type up the appraisal forms and send them to HR, HR will put me on the courses I've asked for. In terms of salary, I don't know, I'm hopeful that it might go up a little...

Sigh. WHY do I have to go to university to be able to work later? I want to work, too. :(

I.e. you just made work sound very gratifying and cool. I suppose that only happens if you're very good, though!! :))
