How I'm spending my 4-day weekend
Feb. 8th, 2004 06:58 pm- Semagic hasn't been working for me since 2 weeks ago. Keeps giving programme errors. Same happens if I reinstall. Pretty sure it's my comp's problem, but just don't know *what* problem exactly.
- Downloading 100-something episodes of Prince of Tennis in one go. Kinda regretting not buying the manga in HK Comic Festival in the summer, when they were on sale...
- And er, listening to Fullmetal Alchemist and DNAngel music all day. It bugs me that DN uses different seiyuu for CD drama and anime, but oh well. I'm not sure which version of Satoshi I like better. The first time I heard him in the anime I really shivered, he sounded so damn gay. But eventually he got better into the character, so it wasn't bad at all. But the CD drama version is also very nice.
- Doing coursework. Very worried that the gradients I get from the graphs are very different from the ones some other people got... need to check on Monday.
- Writing [Satoshi]. Can't seem to write what I have in my head. Grrrr. This fic probably will never make it to the public.
- I've got 130GB harddisk space in total. But the way I partitioned them means I've only allocated 65GB to my music, videos, manga and anime downloads. And I'm running out fast. Maybe I can change the partitions around, but I'm not sure how, since I wasn't the one who set up this computer in the first place. I think I need to give Dexter a call eventually.
- I don't want this layout anymore, but I don't have the heart to make another one. Guess I'll go back to one of the older layouts later.
- Somebody found my student ID card and left it with the security. Yippee! I was wondering where it went, and if I should get a new one. But now it's all a-okay. Gonna start working in the library next week, doing coursework and revision. I'm gonna be sooo dead in this year's exams if I don't start soon.
- Can't believe I'm eating oven food/instant noodles for dinner *again* today. No, dammit, I think I'll cook something proper.
- And oh, selling stuff on eBay. http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/yssy/

Date: 2004-02-08 07:52 pm (UTC)2- Haven't watched the whole thing yet... but if I remember right, Satoshi is played (TV version) by Ishida Akira (aka Saiyuki Hakkai) and in the CD drama version by Seki Tomokazu (aka WK Ken), right?

Date: 2004-02-08 10:16 pm (UTC)If you can get your hands on the manga (are there scanlations?), you must get it. The manga is sooo much better (a lot more Satoshi angst)... and the anime itself is a bit dry, but if you've read the manga, the anime makes more sense and is more exciting ^^

And on that note... back to watching FMA 18.
