Feb. 6th, 2005 05:18 pmAnd I MELT because of the way Hana describes YukiTez in VLP. Saw this before I flew home but never got the chance to post the link up.
Went to see my cousin today. And went WHOA at his practice. Chatted a little about my health, got a blood sample taken for checking and some pills for controlling my heartrate. He promised to buy me camera but I have no idea when (and I won't let him get around it by getting me a disposable one XD). Lunch, and then loads of shopping. Fa Yuen Street, places in Mong Kok... got the Ghost in the Shell: Innocence movie Sai wants, got LOADS of anime folders and shitajikis (mostly PoT), got some manga... I must've spent about 50 quid today, but considering the sheer amount I bought, me is very happy.
I mean, that Rikkai shitajiki, they didn't have it, but they have clear plastic folder of the same thing <3! they had a shitajiki of buchou-tachi, another shitajiki of mixed school characters and... *happy sigh* *hugs her purchases* and they cost like what, US$5 each??
Went to the other shop where gorgeous Bruce works, and got Sheep a lovely FMA pendent/necklace (not the pure silver edition one, but the same thing in other metal). Bruce said that PoT's popularity in Japan is in decline, less goods are coming out and people are watching other things. Wonder, if they're really ending the anime, maybe that's why. They really dragged it out too long and people lost interest, I suppose.
OOOOH and I got Sexual Sniper 3 (Akira Hojo ZukaFuji doujinshi) which I've been looking for everywhere - and then found out that's not the last book -_- Caught up with DNAngel and...
I think I should stop XD
After that, my legs were falling off so we came home for dinner, and then took the bus to Victoria Park for the Flower Markets. IT WAS SO FUN. All sorts of New Year plants, people opening stalls to sell anything you can imagine (I bought an inflatable traffic lights XDDDD), loads of it has to do with the "chicken" theme since it's gonna be the year of the Rooster. It was just amazing, to feel the people with so much energy, selling their stuff like they're really enjoying what they're doing... and then loads of families there to enjoy the market and buy gifts and windmills and everything. People were yelling and screaming happy things and wishing each other happy new year. Apparently this year's market is the best out of the few previous ones. And probably no one will know what I mean, but seeing all of it makes me believe HK is on the rebound, that with a shit government and after SARS and economy crash, people are still working hard, keeping their smiles. It feels like we're a bunch of undefeatable people.
Enough of my sentimentality XD
Today's been one hell of a day. Legs feel dead. Now I go catch up with my friends page! =D

Date: 2005-02-07 07:00 pm (UTC)Nah~ not really... the list is endless, but I don't NEED any of it really (plus, despite it being Chinese New Year, my wallet is still rather empty). XD Though, it would be wonderful if you could help me get the FMA manga, volume 8 and upwards (including volume 8). XO But if it's a bother then no worries. <3 *snugs*
