I never really complain about how people post on their journals. It's their journal, their choice on how to post, how often to post and what to post. Big fonts? Multiple colours? Sure. Memes... those with pictures I prefer to see a cut, but still, doesn't bother me much. Large pics and photos I trust my friends to put behind cut anyway.

But when it comes to communities... what the fuck is it with people posting in different font sizes and colours??? More and more people are doing it. Am I alone in feeling annoyed by this? Am I stupid and shouldn't feel bothered?

I enjoy reading community posts, and don't want to put them on a separate filter because some dudes feel like, er, expressing themselves/standing out from the crowd by bolding or enlarging their texts. But I don't think I should have to put up with this stupidity either.

Don't feel alone. I find it annoying, too, because it is a community and it isn't just one person they might be annoying. I'm not easily irritated by things, it takes alot for me to get irritated, so it's surprising that this does bother me. It would have helped if the information the person provided was something I was interested in, suffice it to say that it wasn't. Thing is, I've only seen one person do it :/ My reaction is to automatically ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist on my flist. IMO, if they want attention, they should try and get it using a different tactic.
