A day in Yukimura's hospital room [3]
Jan. 11th, 2005 03:58 pm"Thank you." Yukimura smiled and took the pieces of paper from Yanagi with both hands. "Sorry for all the trouble."
"Yukimura." Yanagi frowned, and then sighed. "I told you time and again, it's no effort at all."
"Still." Without Yanagi's help, Yukimura would have been falling behind badly with his homework. But now it seems that he probably wouldn't need to repeat this year.
Later that day, when his visitor had gone home, Yukimura took out the homework and copies of the tests he had missed. It seemed that Yanagi had ran out of paperclips, because this time the pieces of papers were stapled together neatly instead of clipped together. But it would be easier if he could spread the work out and look at them all at once, so Yukimura began to take the staples off.
He cut his finger on a particularly stubborn staple. He bled a lot. A lot. There was blood everywhere.
He died.
