They hit my cluster again this morning, too. I thought I was going to lose my post, as I was in the middle of spell checking when maintenance started. Lucky for me that I didn't.
It means we poor Chef sufferers will finally be moved to faster clusters so I'm not gonna complain... for once ^_^ (but I better be moved out of this nightmare of a cluster).
I just wish they'd like, announce "you guys are going to be off for the whole day today" instead of "you'll be going in and out of read-only mode today". It takes away a lot of frustration, at least for me...
