A bit of trivia: the first thing I backed up when I managed to get back into (my pretty much unusable) Windows were the half-written chapters of my ongoing fics. Mostly because creativity doesn't come by easily, and that txt files are very small. Next I tried to back up my photos (but had to put that last in the end because of the sheer size of the folder), my anime/manga folder (no videos/music in it but even larger at 2+ GB), my received-files folder, and then everything else including old work from uni, my CV, etc.

Says a lot about my priorities, doesn't it?

Luckily I don't have much in drive C: *phew* (~6GB out of ~100GB in all my harddisks)

I shall continue to write fics by hand! *nod* Yukimura shall keep on talking! (Actually no, please don't. Stop it Seiichi, nobody besides me will be interested in your woe-age.)

Spoke with Big Bro just now for advice on reinstalling XP and such. Told him about the "defenestration", although it's Windows that I want to throw out, not throw something out of a window. Got updated on stuff, whinged about my daily commuting and all that. It's just nice to talk to the guy.
