People get fat because they eat food but don't spend all the energy generated by the food, so it gets stored as fat and stuff, right?

......so is Lucozade very fattening? o_o

Hmm.. Generally energy drinks also have electrolytes in them which put salts back into your body and encourages you to drink more (which is why they're good to drink when you have a hangover, encourages you to drink more water).

Maybe the Lucozade is encouraging you to drink more, so you are -- but you're drinking more Lucozade, which compounds the problem.

(Which funnily enough is what happens when you drink alcohol -- the alcohol makes your body think it has no water in it, so you're encouraged to drink more, and you drink more alcohol, which makes it worse, and then you get a hangover).

^^""" I dunno... I just think it's not good of me to want to have energy drinks when I don't use that much energy during the day and stuff >_< Drinking water is always good :)

A coupla months ago I pulled an all-nighter and got ill the next day, shivering and fainting and stuff. A nurse gave me a glucose drink, I got home and my mum got me to drink Lucozade, and since then, every now and then I just got "hmmm Lucozade YUM". It's not all the time, but uh... just weird x_x

Welp sometimes your body gets urges to eat/drink things that contain things that're good for ya.

So mebe those occassional wants ta have Lucozade are your body's way of telling you you need more salts or something? I durno XD
