Cardiff VGL planning

Hmmm. So apparently people at VGL do cosplays as well.

*thinks about the Dave cosplay and Gae Bolg at home* *makes more hmmmm-ing noises*

VGL head count so far: Homan (who really wants to go but whose friends are dallying around being indecisive so I'm getting his ticket to make sure he can get one), Storme, me.

The main problem of VGL right now is that it should end at around 9pm? But the timetable for trains back to London are not nice and even if I get on the 9:30 I won't make it back to Euston until past midnight. =/ Maybe should stay the night somewhere and spend the following day looking around in Cardiff? I've never been there before. But that does mean taking two days off work in total.

On a completely different topic, my mum arrives in London tomorrow. I foresee a lot of evenings spent in London for at least the next few weeks.

Me: I'd like three £40 tickets please.

Ticketmaster: Nope, not available.

Me: (...D: Maybe there aren't three seats together?) Then I'd like two £40 tickets please.

Ticketmaster: Sure. Here you go.

Me: And now I'd like a single £40 ticket please. Even though that means people won't get to sit together.

Ticketmaster: Nope, not available.

Me: (Oh, maybe I just bought the last two? But maybe...) How about another TWO £40 tickets?

Ticketmaster: Sure! :D Here, these two are right next to the two you just bought!

Me: But how about a single £40 one?

Ticketmaster: I cannot let you do that, Dave.

Me: ARSEHOLE!

(I ended up having to tell Homan about this. He says he'll try to get the ticket himself later.)

In a burst of efficiency, I've bought VGL tickets, and got trains and hotel booked.

I like this. Events to look forward to! Hanging out with friends who are as wonderfully weird as I am! Going places! Earlier on in the month I talked about not being able to take time off, but a day or two here and there is going to make life much much nicer. :)

Now, to once again search for somewhere good for the cosplay ball.

But maybe I'll go make some cheese on toast first. And some tea.

...I think the Tezmobile has heard my thought about cheese. She's standing next to me and purring expectantly.
