Things to do for work: one two down, quite a few to go.

I finished the first Phoenix Wright game! Starting the second one today.

Started "planning" [The Monty Hall Problem], currently with no idea where it is heading. But I do sort of know what it will LOOK like, if that makes sense. And.............. somehow it keeps reminding me of The Matrix. At some point I think Niou will comment that his life is like a cheap rip-off of the film. XD

Pez: You say it like it's a bad thing.

Niou: It is.

Pez: Think about it. Darkened meganes. Long trenchcoat that can swish like capes...

Niou: Hmmmmmmmmmmm... *licks lips* If you put it that way...

Sanada: AND SPOONS THAT BEND!

Female!Renji: It is not the spoon that bends, for there is no spoon.

Sanada: *meep*

Pez: Er, guys? Wrong universe. *shoves Sanada and female!Renji back to where they belong* Anyway, Niou?

Book!

Because of a sudden, random memory of once having ladyjaida on my flist once upon a time, I went to see if she's made more progress with her original writing, and voila, found that she's got a book out!

So, has anyone read Havemercy by Jaida Jones and Danielle Bennett, and can you tell me if I should spend £10.71 on it? (Bookdepository is cheaper than Amazon.) I only know that her fanfics are mightily awesome. The reviews on Amazon.com seem quite good, but the ones on AmazonUK not so much...

Ah, I finally took out House of Leaves from the library, but haven't read much of it yet since the book is too big and heavy to carry to work and Phoenix Wright is too shiny...

(no subject)

So, bittorrent has always worked well... until recently. None of the settings have been changed as far as I remember, but now, when BT is on, the net connection grinds to a halt even if there is no NAT/firewall problem and the download/upload there is barely anything.

My ISP doesn't block port or traffic shape or do that sort of fishy business. I've fiddled with the port forwards, tried UPnP, looked up the problem... no good.

What the hell? T_T
