Jun. 16th, 2008 10:09 am[edit] HOW COULD I FORGET. Nori wrote me Old Seigaku-buchou & Brat fic! And it is win! \o/
It's a good feeling when a story that started off pretty boring and I-obviously-borrowed-the-idea-from-[this place] begins to become pretty interesting (to me) and takes its own direction in where it wants to go.
.......Did that sentence even make sense?
In any case, I think it'll have a suitable dosage of mindfuckery soon!
I spent 15 hours gaming over the weekend, and still managed to write. Don't know how that happened but I'm not complaining!
About Lost Odyssey: I like Kaim as a character. He doesn't have that "I'm too cool/upset/emo/socially inept to talk to anyone" syndrome. Sure, Squall was cute, but it really got old after a while. With Kaim, while he DOT DOT DOTs at people sometimes, he does also do the "OMG I'm with stupid" and "I saw something in my dream and I'm going to share it with others" and "OH NO YOU'RE NOT", all that stuff. You know, actual social interaction with others. Recognising that other people exist, and all that.
I also ♥ Tolten because he's so sparkly. \:D/
Jansen is much funnier in English. Even when I understood what he said in Japanese (which wasn't always what the subs said), he was just better in English. (Stay here. I support the Queen. Who ordered seafood?)
Seth's voice in Japanese is so much better. :(
I have no words for Mack and Cooke. Their battle outfits scar my eyes.
Ming... she could do with some sun. I can see the veins on her very, very big breasts. Talk about translucent skin. Get a tan, lady. She also seems to be pretty boring so far. But I've only just started on Disc 2.
