Yanagi, dance, magazines and Fusion
Jun. 1st, 2006 09:19 amI dreamt of Yanagi last night.
No, not Yanagi Renji. Yanagi KOTAROH.
I think he was speaking in English (not surprising considering his English is apparently rather good?) but I can't remember what he was doing. I only remember thinking KA.WA.IIIIII!!!!
>_> Which is funny because I never liked him before. When watching the myus, I sort of wondered why his singing has gone so bad... but later found out it's because his vocal cords got damaged from things related to his terrible accident :( When rewatching the first Myu with
giving_ground on Sunday, I realised how much more confident he seemed back then, compared with all his other myu appearances after the accident... and now I can't help thinking "you poor thing!!!" Knowing that he loved dancing but now he can't do it anymore, too, it's just so saddening (which is bad of me, really, don't think he'd want to be sympathised). Plus, finally watching the DVD and seeing him stuff himself silly with food... that really was kinda cute XD So I think I do like Yanagi now. Would like him even better if he doesn't look like he hasn't slept for days, all the time.
Stupid work colleagues were laughing at a music video when we were in the pub yesterday lunch time. I think the video must be from the 1980s. And I started thinking, in the 2020s people will laugh at our videos too ^^" and they were laughing about the street-locking (or "robotic dance", as it is known to them). It was indeed horrendously bad in the video, but the poor dudes must have never seen proper locking. The good stuff. I still remember Matt's performance with Eugene, Lawrence and the rest of them during that ChiSoc show. I could not believe my eyes.
So, the July issue of hm3 Extra Men's Special will be a PoT special. Hmmm I wonder which would be cheaper, ordering it through Japan Centre in Piccadilly or ordering it through books.com.tw. I also need to get the Rough Diamond book thing which should come out in July, if the ad in Arena Act 10 is anything to go by.
Fusion Eiji and Tez are (unknowingly) competing with each other for Oishi's time on Friday night!!! *is so amused*
[edit] Oh and, Kazuki Artist Book info.

To UK people - ordering books
Jun. 1st, 2006 09:59 amI'm wondering how many of us want to get the July issue of hm3 Men's Extra (coming out 1st July) and the Kazuki Artist Book (coming out mid-July). Maybe we can get them together?
I'm trying to look for ways to get them... options are:
1. Get them on AmazonJP
2. Get my sister in HK to order them
3. Order them through a shop such as Japan Centre in London
4. Order them through a site such as books.com.tw
Option 1 is icky because of horrible HORRIBLE Parcel Force and import taxes :/ I'd ask my sister as a last resort in case the books end up heavy (she'll moan at me) and sending them to UK will end up expensive... Books.com.tw will almost definitely stock both books, but they don't do preordering - the site says I can email them and ask though, so that's an option. I think the best bet is to order through a shop though, that means definitely no waiting for the postman and their mark-up might still end up cheaper than having to pay for shipping.
I'm going to post this and poke other UK fans I know to look at this post! It's only beginning of June now so there is plenty of time, but if you're interested or if you have a way of getting the books, please comment? *___*

Look, we've designed it, you've looked at it and priced it. Now that you're on site, just fucking build the damn thing instead of trying to change the design and cut corners so you can get more money.
I hate contractors.
Also, today = bad day to go out on site.
