Mar. 16th, 2006 10:19 amIStrutE evening talk on Scottish Parliament building - I wasn't going to go, since it's most about structures (though it'd be nice to refresh memory), but seeing it talks about handling listed buildings and especially now that Arup was forced to close the building after a strut swung free in the debating hall... excuse me, but I have to be there to watch people make fun of Arup. I just have to. (I'm so bad)
BUT - sent out a "reply all" to ask who's going, but just looked at the list and Edward C. is there. If he replies to say he's going, I might not go... XD;;;; or drag the man with me even if he goes kicking and screaming. XD;;;;
Wales tomorrow! So excited. Turns out one of the man's friends can't make it this weekend, so they called it off, so now I don't feel as guilty. Of course, must learn to check the calendar more carefully from now on.
[edit] ...........isn't it sort of weird (and rude) that, when a few people gather around to talk, one of them has to write something on a note to give to another person? If there's something private you want to talk about, you could always do it later...
Ah well. *shrug* Guess some people just don't know constitute to being "socially rude".
