I feel bad for not going to work today, since I'm feeling quite well, but the doctor said that, judging by how I've had loads of stomach aches as a kid and my stomach problems recently, I have a weak system and so should stay home today to fully recover first. It's a bad idea to be on a train and getting a tummy ache/throwing up. ^^" But there's a work deadline to meet on Friday... I guess I'll just work longer for the next two days if necessary.

Another day of report and fic writing it is, then.

In other news, I've leafed through the prospectuses I've got so far but there aren't many short courses that interest me. Guess I'll look at a few more colleges. But there are a few Saturday seminars on loads of different subjects that seem interesting and those I can definitely sign up for.

I think I was a bit too mean to Mocha when I confiscated her new toy (bit of plastic that covers 3-pin plugs). But it was 5 in the morning and she was making such a racket >_<

My mum is probably coming over in the next few weeks. She's been nagging to come over for a long long time. I've limited her stay to 2 weeks.

Erm.

You know when you defrag a comp, what (I heard) it does is move the data/programmes that is used most often to the front and put the least used stuff to the back, so that overall it works faster? Like when it starts to get warm, we put away our winter clothes until we need them again? Is there a term to describe this process? I thought of "archiving", but am not sure if it's the right term and I don't really like it anyway...
