Why oh why, does my supervisor have to book the SEM session in the morning? Slept for like 5 hours - that used to be enough for me but now... *yawn* and still, before going to sleep I had to write a Fusion-Tez entry too. X_x"

There's something so wrong about my mood being "Weeeeeeee!" and my mood icon is still Tezzie with a constipated face... XD

They fixed the kiln! I'm waiting for it to heat up now so that I can do my experiment!!! Time's pressing, needa come back tomorrow to do density measurements but hey! At least I'll have some proper data! The probability of my report getting at least a pass is... 100%. *glasses flash*

FYP and stuff

I got to do the firings today! *arm-pump* Mwahaha I don't suck at all. I blow. XP

D00d this is way cool, most of my fired samples actually FLOAT. ie. density < 1!!!! Although this is exciting, it also means I can't measure the density using Archimede's method. ^^" Meaning I have to just estimate the diameter, work out approx volume and then weigh the thing and work out the rough density. But hey this is still way cool.

If you don't know what my project is about, take a guess by looking at these pictures. Hint: I do civil engineering. (actually this hint probably will confuse more than help you)

So tired. ~_~ Working with a 800C kiln in a lab without air-con, wearing lab coat, during the summer. Meant I came home to have my 2nd shower of the day.

yoshi_6_6, my supervisor showed me Peter Pang's FYP, the main body is ~110 pages and together with appendix, ~190 pages!!! I think with my current stuff I can write about 75 MAX. But you know how I told you he told Andy to beef up the report? Well later today he told me go for quality not quantity. Me is TEH CONFUSED.

I'm going to rest today. Can't believe how tired I am after a whole day in the lab. From tomorrow onwards I'll work full-time and extra-time on this FYP, so no RP or groupie chats for me for the next few days.

LJ accessibility

Yo, those of us who have been having the "page cannot be found" problem (ie refresh 5million times before anything loads) with LJ, may not be able to access LJ at all now.

You are using Norton Internet Security, right? Yes, I've realised one thing.

*nods* yup. NIS is not allowing LJ through now, and I can't configure it to let it through. I have filed a support request, and another person already has as well, about this.

If you have the same problem, please somehow go to http://www.livejournal.com/support/submit.bml and submit a support request (yeah, you'll have to disable Norton to do that). If there are only one or two complaints they'll just say it's our problem. But if there are enough cries for help they can't ignore us.

Don't want to disable NIS again to reply to comments, so I'm posting through Semagic...

I've already done all the things listed in the site ningengirai gave, but it's not helping. The thing is, if people with NIS (note: NIS, not Norton Antivirus) have been getting problems, and then all those people at the same time today suddenly can't access LJ... does it mean all those people should configure their comp's security to suit LJ?

And hell I did try to configure... but nothing's happening ;_; I wanna read my flist.
