Sanada's ass-sized headache is not reacting to paracetamol. Yesterday's windy condition probably didn't help.

Went to Boots to collect prescription. They can't find my name on the computer system or in their bits of paper. "Oh, it's probably still in the post then, since your surgery's in Colchester. You know the post isn't running very well." I THOUGHT THE STRIKE'S TOMORROW AND THE MOST RECENT SORT-OF-STRIKE WAS IN LONDON. ARE WE IN LONDON??? DOES POST BETWEEN COLCHESTER AND HERE TAKE MORE THAN A WEEK?

Maybe your surgery sends all prescriptions to London for a brief holiday and sightseeing tour before the prescriptions are condemned to imprisonment in the local Boots stores?

(Ugh, though. There's still a chance of it being *delivered* tomorrow, isn't there? It's collections which are buggered tomorrow, and then deliveries on friday, if I'm remembering okay.)

I was briefly wondering about Sanada's windy condition when I figured it out.

Unrelated to headache, but related to post services, I was laughing like a drain when the postal union announced a strike on the release date for Windows 7 but Amazon and Microsoft have laughed right back and shipped the thing 2 days early. Quiet competence has its moment.
