Very random: Godot/Captain Falcon?

(Wow, that's one amazing Godot cosplay. The Captain Falcon is also really good.)

The flu-jab people are in the office today. It's amazing how many people come up with all sorts of excuse not to have it. I guess some are legitimate, but others are just plain "omg needle! Scared! Not getting it! Would rather catch the flu!" I can understand if people have an actual phobia and want to avoid it at all costs, but from what I can see, my coworkers are just being wusses.

There's a scene in the TLR fic I'm writing which reminds me of the Kwik-Fit TV ads. Kwik-Fit will fix it! Rush will fix it.......... oh wait.

Said fic is so gratuitous I'm ashamed of it and I'm scrapping some of the worst ideas in there because they're on par with ff.net badness.

That said, I still want David to be drugged in some sort of situation. XDDDDDDDD NO. IT'S NOT DRUG RAPE. No, I wasn't going there. But still. The idea was bad. Unless I turn the whole thing into crackfic. Hey wait, that's an idea...

Some of the Phoenix Wright cosplays I've seen around are amazing.

Poor Dave. If you go the whole badfic route, he's likely to end up with wings or enslaved to vampire!Rush or something. Not that I think he'd mind that so much, but still.

Actually that's just the healing sparkles, because I was trying to get shots of battle poses. But yeah, sparkly Rush makes me think of the sad parts too. Sigh.

Oh well, they'll just have to work hard on this, I guess. It's for their own sake. And if Rush finds himself too exhausted afterwards, well he's brought it upon himself.

Eh, I'd decline if flushot people came here, which wouldn't happen. (Needle people descending upon a workplace sounds very exotic, is there any particular reason? o.o) Not because I'm scared of needles (I'm not), but because I see no need for it. Elderly people and people with weak immune systems and otherwise poor health, sure. They should get the shot. But normally healthy people? Nah. Unless it's someone the employer really, seriously cannot afford to have conked out for a week or two.

Oh, we get free flu jab from our medical insurer, so they come by once a year. Sure, flu doesn't do bad damage to healthy people, but personally I'd rather suffer a needle than to feel really poorly for a week or two. DX

Aaaah, what a nifty idea. Here, you have to go to your doctor to get it. And what usually happens is that all the hysterics/zomgflumillionscanDIE!!!-type people rush off to get the vaccine, which comes in limited quantities, which means that there isn't enough left for those who actually need it if the season is a bad one. orz

I'm not sure if that happens here, haven't heard about it. Over here everyone over 65, with long term med condition, and some other people are entitled to the vaccine for free. But I don't know how the supplies are for the rest of the people.
