STILL waiting for the tailcoat pattern. Hoping to start it this weekend, but... Gae Bolg work it'll be, then. I hardly did any of it this week, most of my evenings were spent moping over things and trying to write an ending for the current fic. I want a really quiet ending, but there are loose ends that need tying up and those seem to definitely require a lot of dialogue. Hn. Maybe there should be an epilogue (that escape route for authors who can't end their stories properly.)

STILL debating whether or not I should get that camera lens. Though I don't remember if I ever mentioned that here so the STILL part probably is a bit ???.

STILL battling with arrogance at work.

It took me three attempts to spell "rhythmic" just now. Is "rhythm" the only English word that has no vowel, I wonder?

Words with no vowels.

Though some of them I think they're bullshitting. Wtf is a 'MYRRH'? :|

XD I guess rhythm is just the longest no-vowel word, then! Unless if hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm counts. XD

Myrrh! As any child who was forced to take part in a nativity play in school would know. (My pain.) ;;;

In the case of rhythm, y is the vowel :o (IDK about there, but we were taught that y is the vowel if there is no other present...or the just want y to be a vowel.)

They probably meant you treat the Y as a vowel in terms of pronunciation?

IDK. I just remember learning this stuff and them going SO THE VOWELS ARE A-E-I-O-U AND SOMETIMES Y.

I don't want to go to anthropology class this early in the morning, Pez ;o;

No, we got to discuss malaria and why people with sickle cell anemia don't get it ;o;

And someone likened natural selection/reproduction to gangstas in the 'hood. Somehow my professor rolled with it.

Y is totally a pseudovowel. It acts as one on occasion but it is not really a member of the club... damn poser.

Liz has a lot of experience with y-wrangling, given her surname.

I still insist on pronouncing your J.

It doesn't like to be pronounced. It's shy. ;;

But if I don't pronounce it I might forget it's there. ;;

I just wrote yours down for the guy at the bank last week (and had to point out which bit was surname). he seemed inordinately confused by the whole thing. Possibly he was just thrown because he'd had to type my name moments before.

Dude, George's layer of fat is so thick that he doesn't feel anyone poking him, so how can he be sensitive?

They do indeed rock. :D

Also, where I come from, y is a proper vowel. Just like æ, ø and å. :)

Val gave me this lecture last night. ;; Apparently the poor y needs protecting from us heathens. I still say you people have a complete excess of vowels. Which I totally cannot deal with because I can't even make half the sounds in my own language quite right. D:

Start with the proper y. Make Val teach you how to pronounce the name "Ylva". It's one of my favourite Swedish names, and it's got a very nice Y to start it off. :)
