pezGot a letter asking me to go take the smear test. Seeing as it's something that seems to affect a lot of women these days, I went to get it done this morning. Most uncomfortable thing ever.
Slept like crap last night. Well, I was so wide awake that I went and finished the collar thing for Soldier Blue. The sewing bit, at least. Need to put the decorating swirlies on. Also pleated the cape material at the top to give it some body. Will attach it to collar thing after the decoration. Didn't want to make his special headphones, so I got some super super** cheap ones and will spray them white. It means they won't be the right shape, but yanno, whatever, it's the overall effect I'm going for with this costume, not accuracy or technicality! Actually I tested the headphones' sound quality and they are rather like those Woolies own brand earphones I once had. Yeah, that bad. So I'm going to cut the cord too since I won't be using them for their original function. Then all that's left is decorating the gloves and getting a black zip-up top.
** I don't use the word "super" often so I have to use it twice when there's the chance. :Db
It turns out dressmaker's mannequins aren't expensive at all on eBay. Guess I can look into proper shops as well. Having one would make life many times easier. But I'd have to store it in my room, I guess. And it'd freak the heck out of me at night. *damn you, Silent Hill*
Finished reading vol.6 of Kuroshitsuji. I've been reading the official Taiwan version. Need more now. But I don't like reading manga on screen.
Urgh, I don't feel like I've slept at all! Maybe I should get some Piriton to take at night, they always kill me dead.
