An acquaintance once told me that her neighbor's ducks (or was it geese?) had got out of their enclosure during the night and spread out all around her garden. When they'd gone out to catch the birds, they'd found one of them sleeping, head under a wing, on their charcoal grill that'd been outside without the cover on. Talk about choosing an ominous place for a nap...
