That mythical pain-free existence:
Heee, hello, wisdom teeth. It's been a while, hmm?

Today I'm wearing my comfy shoes, but forgot to put in the supports. Luckily it's the comfy shoes that are well-made enough to have some arch support anyway. I've conceded that there won't ever be a day when my foot doesn't hurt. IT BUILDS CHARACTER.

That sinking feeling:
When characters in your fic is going Completely And Utterly OOC. WTH, Rush, what are you going to do next? Dive into Dave's arms and cry? Harakiri? Kill Irina? Borrow the Gae Bolg and... actually, let's not go there, Lancelot.

[edit] The fic. It's actually starting to make sense. *fear*

That thing called work:
Landed myself a rather interesting piece of work. Unfortunately I'm only allowed three days to do it.

There is also chance I need to work on another piece of something that begins with C, ends with M and has D in the middle. Argh. Why.

I don't know which I hate more: articulated buses or disabled parking. Probably the latter.

(Whenever I think of "articulated buses", I think of buses that are very... articulate. *snort*)

I find that recurrent pain/discomfort mainly builds bad temper! Although your pain threshold probably does increase in the process.

In my case I think it's just building resignation. I do have some NSAIDs that should get rid of it, but those are meant for my back and it'll just come back anyway, so I don't know if I should waste the stuff or save it for my back, since when that hurts, it's way worse than my foot.

I guess it depends what you can deal with in other ways and what can only be dealt with through painkillers. Life gives us these fun choices.

(It would be very nice, right now, to medicate tinnitus out of existence. My hearing is now actually distorted by the ringing.)

It's always trying to balance one thing with another.

Do you see a chiro for your back? I've always had good experience with McTimoney practitioners.

The GP didn't give me a referral. If I go I suppose it'll have to be private.

That's what I did. Cost around £40 per session. It's a whole body approach so they might be interested in your foot too. If nothing else, the massage is nice!
