Forgot to upload new icons =/

pezFinally sucked it up (damn you, Rush) and bought the Japanese SE mook for TLR, because:
1) the game system is actually really complicated and it doesn't tell you anywhere how things work (which is why the TLR forum at GameFAQs is always so active and already has over 1000 pages of threads - people always asking question and people posting what they've figured out) Sure, you can finish the story without understanding the system very well, but the fighting is ace (damn you again, Rush) and it's not like FF where you just level up to 99 and get 9999HP and every character gets a fixed set of skills. It's combinations and formations and weapon arts and skills and making accessories and... oooooooooooooooo.
2) the English guide hardly tells you anything, whereas the Japanese one explains it all. lol, 20+ pages just on Battle Rank and unit growth! To finally understand the mysteries of BR! Don't even care if the mook has no pictures, just the thought of getting my hands on all that info is orgasmic enough.
Last night I killed Charged Idol at BR70. That apparently means I'm awesome, because other people are having trouble killing it even at 80, or even 90.
Oh, I gave Dave the Frostblade. =_= Apparently he doesn't get a final weapon otherwise (even though he will get a Bluesteel and its upgrades,but no WA with it, wtf) He's been benched until he's ready with some new arts. This makes me sad because I love watching him do Double Slash. I'd sacrifice some attack damage and choose Double Slash over better arts if I see that on the menu. XD;; Oh, can't wait to see what Snowblind looks like but don't want to look it up on youtube. Let's hope it involves lots of sparkles. ♥ Because Dave is so sparkly already.
As you can see, I've found a new obsession that doesn't cost me too much money. Thanks to this game I've hardly spent any money this month on unnecessary stuff, just the two game guides and the Glay magazine. No wonder there are always huge queues at GAME - it's the best way ("besides sex," Niou reminds me to point out) to keep oneself entertained for a long time. It works out really cheap... unless you play Final Fantasy and start buying all their goods, of course.

Though, the one thing I want most right now are TLR sims. XDDDD
Been entertaining writing about what happens /after/ the game, but there doesn't seem to be much beyond, to quote Niou-plush, "and then they had a lot of woohoo and a lot of woohoo and a lot of woohoo and..." Basically, I can think of what happens, but there isn't much point to it apart from leading to woohoo in the end. orz
Since everyone's talking about Obama, here is what I think: yes, he sounds about five million times better than George WMD Bush, but until Obama actually does something to prove his worth, I'm withholding judgement. Good campaign and track record doesn't automatically equal good administration.
