Slippery Monday

No snow today, but trains were still delayed because of "slippery conditions"...
FF13 for 360! (No, I wasn't aware of this. I'm slow, if not totally uninformed, when it comes to gaming news.) This is marvellous! *sparkle*
Finally got my hands on Wii Fit - well, got it ordered anyway, let's hope Argos won't suddenly come back and say they've sold out. It's been sold out across the country for ages and every now and then a retailer would have about 2 copies for sale. Getting it at RRP had been an epic battle - once which I've won! *insert amazing emoticon striking a victory pose* A freeloader is also on its way. Once the Wii Fit arrives I'll need to brickblock it...
The D1 Exchange fic for me had been posted last weekend: The Musk of Cloves in a Pomegranate. Now, I suck at reccing things, but I think everyone should give it a go. The summary goes: Niou is a thief in Venice, Yagyuu is the son of the Japanese ambassador. There is a masque…and a wedding, but whose? I really loved it. It's different - good different. The writing is confident (with fics, sometimes you can tell if the author has had some wibbles writing certain parts, but there's none of that here), there are lots of wonderful imageries, the story is cute and romantic but not in a sickening way, the frankness of the characters makes me wibble and I want to squish Niou. To top it off, the author's beta wrote Yagyuu's POV for the story and she emailed it to me! I GET TO READ IT FIRST, YOU BITCHES WILL HAVE TO WAIT. >D (I think it'll be posted to the community as a gift later.) It's in my inbox now. I haven't had time to read it yet... got work to do.
Speaking of work, I'm going to be out this afternoon. It's 10am and I'm already tired. In fact I was tired when I was on the train to work. It feels like all the energy has been drained from my limbs. How can it only be Monday? Or is it exactly because today is Monday?
Haven't scanned & posted doujinshis for a long while. If I get home early today, I'll scan something. Can't decide on what, though. Maybe Dokurodan?
