So AyaCon will run next year. It's kind of tempting because Aya is the one and only con I've ever been to in England (London Expo doesn't count as a con!) But man, planning nine months ahead is really... I guess that's why I don't go to cons. They always require early registration because places get snatched up so quickly, but I don't even know what I'll be eating tonight, I can't imagine putting down a booking for something that far ahead!

I do miss cosplaying, though... I want to go out and do random cosplay, but it's rather difficult with just me (and Liz, if she's up for it). That sort of thing requires at least three or four people, and a good camera. Oh Lina, why are you so far away? My Cain costume hasn't seen the light of the day for 2 years (much of it is broken now and needs major fixing). I also want to be Zero again (I still lol about that because when I cosplayed him at the time, the anime wasn't out and nobody knew who I was supposed to be). And Hitsugaya. I want to wear all of these again because they took me so damn long to make, especially the Cain costume! AND I WANT TO DO A PHOENIX WRIGHT COSPLAY. Though I don't know who I should be. Franziska would be cool; I've never cosplayed female characters before and she gets to wear a frilly cravat too. AND SHE HAS A WHIP. Her costume would be a mix of "buy" and "make", which is pretty cool because I like the making part. If I try to be Phoenix, then sure, I won't need a wig but I would definitely just go buy a suit from the BHS or George@ASDA school uniform department or something, because making a suit is just silly. But that cuts out the making part. Less fun. :(

But oh, Franziska? Can't I be a cheerful character once in a while?

(Yes, I'm just procrastinating at work. It's Friday.)

I swear Warwick uni is hard to get to from fucking everywhere. I mean okay train lines but then there's always buses to get from whichever train station to the campus and BLEAH. XD *scarred by too many really annoying convoluted journeys when visiting ex at warwick*

Where the heck is Warwich Arts Centre anyway? Is it at the uni? Because I've been to the uni before, have to take train to Coventry and then find a really well-hidden bus stop....

Yeah, it is. It's a concert venue/exhibition space. Also, we always used to take the train to Leamington Spa not Coventry, though I'm not sure it makes much different tbh. (Although the bus stop may be less cunningly hidden.)

It is! It's the main reason I've never been to Ayacon - I think it's about six hours from Newcastle by train and that's just...not worth it. XD

Six hours?! Oh my God. It's annoying how some places are so hard to get to by train if you don't live in the capital.

Okay, not easy. But I did a Headstart course there a few years back and it's doable. Meaning, if I got on a train at Southampton, I could be there in 2 or 3 changes, which is not so bad.
