Is there a way to display text when having mouse on hover that's not <span title="text here"> or alt="text"? Both only show a very limited amount of characters, not even enough for a whole sentence. I want to do a bit like what Tong's done here, but that requires DHTML which isn't allowed on LiveJournal. D:

[edit] longdesc is useless. Too poorly supported. =/

Well, it's user-end, but anyone using IE can change their internet browser settings to display alt text no matter how long it is (no truncation).

I don't know if there's a code to force this option, or anything maybe.
