I said on my gallery page on The Crossroads that if people ask, I'll usually let them use my images. But this is ridiculous.

Hi there ^^
I'm making a Weiss site and looking for images for it. I've some of my
own
like episode images and scans from manga, but could I use some of your
images?
I would like to create the biggest gallery site, if it is possible and
you
have lot of great pictures, so pretty please, can I use them ^^;;;;;

I can link your site to my site so people will know where the iamges
have
come from ^^

I mean HELLO? Mine is one of the biggest galleries out there. I'm not trying to compete, but why the FUCK should I let you use MY images for you to create a bloody big gallery? Do you know how many bloody hours, DAYS I spent on scanning the images and such? And yeah you want to take them and oh should I be glad that you're offering to link back? Honey you know what, why don't you just provide a link to my gallery on your site? People will still get to see the images, you won't need to do HTML or waste bandwidth. You sound to me more like you want the glory of owning the biggest gallery rather than providing a place for fans to look at things.

I salute you by giving you the finger.

It's rude and it might start a flame war... it's okay in your LJ to rant and vent to us but another thing to tell the person to come and take a look... ^_~ (unless you feel like drowning in spooge afterwards).

I think though that you should tell her exactly what you said, just use less abrupt wording (maybe it's me but having seen lots of rude posts in the AnimeSuki's thread, aka the "whine... FUNI is crap and how dared they licensed FMA" today, I'm edgy about the power of words).
