Wow, the flooding across Britain is very dramatic.

I feel very left out, not being a HP fan. I've read the first three books and they didn't appeal to me - in fact I can hardly remember the events in those books. Perhaps I read them when I wasn't feeling too good and that ruined things...

I stand on top of making bread and butter pudding.

I can see how some people wouldn't like HP. There are definitely elements in her style and story that wouldn't appeal to everyone. Though I find most themes she writes about are universal, but hey, people say that about the bible and some people just aren't in to that right?

But if you're ever feeling daring perhaps giving them another read one day to see if it was really the book or your mood that made you really dislike them?
