I really hate Studiowarp and their preorder gift system, the way they stagger release dates and make it impossible for overseas people to preorder. Ongaku Senkasha, MMV etc let other websites such as YesAsia and AmazonJP collect preorders, but nooooo, Studiowarp has to be a pain in the ass.

They just announced Yagami Ren's DVD. (not the DVD that comes with photobook) Preorder gift is a desk calendar. Something that is useful and pretty to stare at for a whole year.

Getting my sister to try to find a shop to preorder, because I can't always pay what the internet sellers charge. Their fees are sky high. Why do Studiowarp have to make it so hard for me to support them? In effect, they're just trying to force me to give up and download. Grr.

And dammit. I WANT YAMAYUKI FIC.

Don't they realize they can make craploads off overseas fans if given a chance?

I would have paid out the nose to get that first preorder of Kanesaki's stuff, and I was one goddamn day late, so I'm not buying it at all.

Yeah. =/ You'll probably have better luck buying it off YJA or something. It might even cost less, considering the fees that I'm being charged for mine!

I'm just not going to waste my time and money any more. If I can't order it halfway decently easily, I'm not bothering. They pulled this BS on me with the calendars before. I tried and tried to order them, they kept putting me on order holds, and then ignored my requests for months, until the calendards could no longer be ordered.

I wanted Kanesaki's stuff so damned badly, but I'm tired of getting my hopes up and trying to get stuff only to be told it's out of print, there are no more, they can't order it, I'm past the deadline, or that it's going to cost 3x as much as the base price for a million fees. It's such a waste.

Now that Amazon JP is charging insane fees for shipping and shitty service, I'm going to not buy there any more, either. Which leaves precious few places to buy anything.
