I had to make a call, the guy's in a meeting and will call me back this afternoon. I'm not looking forward to it - on top of the fact that I have a fear of formal calls and bad problems with accents, I'm generally unintelligible and incoherent today. Said "good afternoon" when I answered a call from the project manager at 10:30. Managed about 5 lines of conversation with the big boss before staring blankly and wondering where my words went. Brain. Not. Functioning. Typed words are a lot easier because I can see what I'm saying.

Need to call mum later to ask her to do a bank transaction for me. Must remember to check HK bank account and set up internet banking there next time I go back.

Got a remote controller off ebay for £5 inc. shipping, to help me hack my DVD player into multiregion. Let's hope it works. It should. Damn Sony for making their machines unhackable with the remote they provide. I want to watch my Utena DVDs. Then I can sell the remote on or send it to Hana. XD

[edit] Steadily feeling increasingly crappier. I have no strength and my stomach's starting to cramp up. =_= Maybe I'll get some beers tonight so that I can fall asleep straight after dinner. *misses having frozen margaritas with Hana*

[edit2] And fuck, now I'm hungry. All it needs is to get cold and I'll just die right here, right now. >EEEEEEE

suggest writing yourself a mini-script so at least you remember all the points you need to cover (and if in doubt offer to confirm by email - that way, you can say what you really meant to later)!

*nods* The guy I have to talk to is called Ahmed, which is not a good sign, since I have very bad problems with understand that kind of accent.
