This reminds me of a website called... I think Red Dot or something, that served mostly Chinese students in UK universities. There was quite a lot of wank on that forum, too, but not to this sort of scale.
Finished Megane Rangers 5 last night. Had to take a chunk out and use it on another chapter later on. XD Will make some edits and see if it's ready for posting today. I am going to Hell.

their_white_day posting begins! I'm so nervous. >_<
A law student at UPenn decides to throw a contest to find the "most appealing women @ top 14 law schools". They pull photos off Facebook and encourage people to take photos of ugly classmates (not exactly what they said - but it's too nasty for me to type out here). This hits AutoAdmit, which is pretty much the biggest law school forum on the web, AFAIK.
Threads of "OMG she's an ugly h0r" begins. The girls protest. And get shat on with things like "oh they asked for it". If you google for any of their names, apparently now the threads involving their real names are so high in Google that no law firm will hire some of them.
I can't personally stomach trying to go through the forum and finding all the threads, but excerpts are posted at ReputationDefender.com. I don't know if these are the worst/best. If they aren't - I lack the imagination to come up with worse. The "T14 whores" one is especially impressive.
UPenn has been complained at, and have said they have no legal standing to do anything. Those who run the forum also refuse to do anything.

Date: 2007-03-12 04:17 pm (UTC)My housemate (the one we call big sis) is doing law AND because of a bad word from one of her teachers (she's dyslexic and he doesn't believe she can make it) she didn't get into her first choice so erijedkwejhd ijie I can't even imagine the damage and hurt that has caused people!! AHRHEj
(Although thank you for posting, you always find such interesting/shocking facts that it's probably best to know that to be ignorant of!)
