Lately, Inui has been dreaming about having sex with Renji - the Renji from the past. Renji asks "Sadaharu" to be gentler, but Inui insists that Renji must call him "Doctor" and Renji must say that he loves him. When Inui wakes up, he feels disgusted and very scared of himself.

He gives Renji a ring. They talk about the upcoming Nationals. (not too sure of the rest) Renji says, what if he is the one left behind and he entered Seigaku, so that it would be Tezuka, Fuji and him against Rikkai, where Inui would be. Inui said that would be nothing strange. The conversation evolves to Renji pointing out that Inui is thinking a gap between them has developed after the last 4 years. He says Inui is tied down by data and this way Inui is never going to win against him, and that Inui knows this himself. At this point, Inui realises what Renji says is true, that he knows he will lose and therefore he dreams about the younger Renji, because he feels confident he can win against young Renji.

The story ends with Renji asking, "Naa, Sadaharu, how many years must I have to wait? I am feeling disappointed."

And Inui thinks, 'perhaps Renji has seen through me, he knows that some time, I want to tell you "I like you."'

TALKING HEAD
Inui and Renji talk on the phone the night before the Nationals. Inui apologises for waking Renji, and asks why he is in bed early. Renji says because it's the match tomorrow.

Renji asks Inui "what is it?" and after a lot of ".........", Inui says he is going through the data. After being silent a bit more and not answering to Renji, Renji finally says "Doctor?" and Inui says "I'm listening." Renji works out that Inui was keeping quiet just to make him say "Doctor". Inui says "Master, don't hang up" when Renji threatened to. Inui asks Renji not to be angry with him.

Inui then says that they have had no news of each other for four years, and it feels very strange now that they're talking. Up until now, the Renji inside his head is the young Renji. But now that they've talked, the Renji in his mind is the one in the present.

Renji thinks to himself, that is true for him, too. It is natural that the voice and the looks have changed, after four years. And that the Inui now, is the Inui in the present.

ALSO - it seems like Katsumi Asanami has also drawn a Sanada-centric doujinshi called "HERO" and a Niou-centric one called "魔少年ニオー" (Mashounen Niou) I'd LOVE to get hold of these, soft and/or hard copy, it doesn't matter. If you know where I can find them, please let me know, thanks!
