A day in the life of Sanada Genichirou

No one paid much attention when Niou took longer than usual in the changing room that day. Yukimura, Sanada and Yanagi were busy doing their groupie thing, Marui was stuffing his face, Jackal was polishing his head and Kirihara was finishing the punishment laps from the day before. As for Yagyuu, he said nothing, but he probably knew what was happening anyway.

When Yukimura was done (with what, we shall never find out), he clapped his hands and told the team members to assemble. Niou rushed out of the club room at that point and lined up with the rest of them.

It was Kirihara who reacted first. "Senpai!" He looked up and down at the blue thing standing next to him, then flung himself onto Niou. "Oh my God this is so cool!"

Niou smiled smugly. The team members all gathered around Niou and laughter erupted. Except for Sanada, who hung back a little, his arms crossed at his chest and his expression one of deep annoyance.

"Niou," said Sanada.

"Where did you get this from?" Marui poked at Niou.

"Niou," Sanada raised his voice a little.

"What I would like to know is, are you wearing anything underneath?"

"Saa." Niou shrugged.

"I want to know too."

"Well if Buchou says so, I can give you a sneak peek." Niou tugged down the collar of his outfit a little, enough for Yukimura to look down. Yukimura giggled like a girl and did not answer when Kirihara demanded to know what he saw.

"NIOU!" Sanada decided shouting was needed, and cut off whatever Jackal was saying mid-sentence. "Why are you wearing... wearing..."

"It's called 'Stitch'. It's a Disney character." Yanagi said helpfully.

Sanada nodded at Yanagi in thanks. "Why are you wearing a Stitch outfit to tennis practice?"

"Why the hell not?"

A vein popped on Sanada's forehead.

Yukimura pet Niou on the back. "I like it. It's cute." He clapped his hands again. "Right, let's start with some warm ups!"

When the crowd dispersed, Niou a blue fluffy thing amongst the yellow uniformed team members, Sanada rubbed his forehead heavily. Yukimura liked it? YUKIMURA LIKED IT?

Then Yanagi approached. "I've asked Niou. He said he's staying at Yagyuu's tonight."

Sanada feared to ask, but he asked anyway. "So?"

"So he will need the outfit. But you can purchase one at the Disney Store."

As if he had heard the conversation, Yukimura turned around and waved at them.

There were many times when Sanada seriously considered changing schools. This was one of them. According to Yanagi's data, however, the probability of Sanada visiting the Disney Store later on in the day was 100%.
