It's my dad's, so I'd probably better not do anything too terrible to it. ;) I keep meaning to get one for myself. Maybe even just one of those printer/scanner things, because I could kind of do with a printer, too. XD

btw, with the crashing scanner, would the computer you're trying to use it with have a driver for a sony digital camera installed? Apparently the two drivers clash, or that's what happened with my dad's comp.

Not that I know of. But I think it might be that the computer is just generally a bit crap, to be honest. XD
